DELIRIOUS

                                      DELIRIOUS 

I cannot believe that the day has finally arrived. Well, it arrived yesterday, but give a girl a minute to read the book. LOL Delirious was an amazing read, another home-hitter for me. It was a perfect book to read while we all were laying low due to Hurricane Irma. Delirious is the fifth book in the Quantum Series under her alter-go name of M.S. Force. Don`t worry, if you are a bit behind, I have another blog post that will explain everything Quantum. Anyways, back to Delirious. Delirious features our favorite Hollywood producer, Kristian Bowen, whom readers met in Book 1, Virtuous, as well as our cherished, single mom of two kids, and survivor of breast cancer, Aileen Gifford, one of Natalie`s friends that was also introduced in Virtuous,separately though. We saw sparks between the two when they meet a Flynn`s and Natalie`s wedding. What do they say about weddings and first love? LOL. Now that Aileen is in LA, thanks to Flynn and Nat`s encouragement, will she and Kristian find away to be together despite each of their prior personal struggles? Delirious is a novel of the heart, mystery, and hardship that both Aileen and Kristian have gone through. It is a book about how love can conquer all, about how a hero emerges from a broken man when an ugly past, and most of all true love. If you like books that are full of love, joy, sadness, and redemption as well as a it of kinkiness, you will absolutely fall in love with Delirious, which is now available, and will be listed below.  

Personally, I have been waiting for this book since the two characters were introduced at Flynn and Nat`s wedding. Yep, its been a while, but well worth the wait time. I love stores with a happyily ever after`s, but this book takes it to a whole new level. I loved how Kristian saw Aileen`s beauty despite the fact that ahe was undergoing chemotherapy and vice vera, how Aileen saw past the Hollywood charm with Kristian and forced him (in a nice willing way) to face his demons. I adored that both of them fought for one another against all the odds. Best of all, I love how Kristian takes care of Aileen`s kids, Logan and Maddie, just like a dad would do.

I hope you all will give this amazing book a whirl. If you have not read the Quantum Series yet, jump on the bandwagon, you will not regret it!                         FATAL THREAT (PLUS MORE)


Wow, I cannot believe I have never written about the Fatal Series here on the blog! Before I get into Fatal Threat, the most recent release, lets take it back a few years. 

I found about Marie Force 5-6 years ago through the Gansett Series. Like I do with other authors, immediately I went online to learn more about Marie Force and found out she had a series called Fatal Series. Back then only a couple books had been released, and bonus, the first book, Fatal Affair, was free. I flew through Fatal Affair and before I knew it, I was 3 books in. To say I was hooked was well, an understatement at best. To be honest, I think what got me so addicted was the fact that this book had everything I loved. It had both romance and mystery, 2 genres that I love, so it was like a match made in heaven. What I love about the Fatal series is that its like watching a tv show, but inside your own head. If you like romance and mystery in one, if you like reading series, and if you like having an interactive author, the Fatal Series is definitely for you! Right now, the first three books of the series are free (in the bundle)! If you have been hesitant, dive in now and you will not regret it!!!! 

Now, lets get back to present day! Today, is release day for the latest in the Fatal Series....FATAL THREAT!!!!! I have been patiently (or not) waiting for this release for a year... and it was totally worth it. I LOVED it. I tried so hard to "take it slow," but it was not happening. I had to know who did what and why and gosh I was racing through it like anything. So, the book picks up at Sam, excuse me, Lieutenant Holland, driving to a crime scene, where she is abducted by the Secret Service and taken to an underground safety place. There, she is met with her family members who are confused why they are at this unknown location. It is later revealed that someone has been threatening the vice president, Nick, and due to a particular nasty threat, he ordered the Secret Service to make sure all of his and Sam`s family were safe, thus the reason why everyone landed up in the secret underground placement. There is a lot of twist and turns that I did not see coming and do not want to spoil for anyone, but without giving any spoilers, here is what I can say. The main investigations going on are , the crime scene Sam was at when she was taken and secondly, the investigation of the threats ( led by the Feds, our lovely friend Agent Hill), and a third investigation that is connected to the threat investigation. Just like with Marie`s other series, I have read the Fatal Series multiple times. In fact, before reading Fatal Threat, I re-read the entire series. To be clear with you, I love this series to death. Its one of my favorites and right up my alley as the saying goes. I love reading this series because its fun, sexy, suspenseful, and emotional. I love this series because I care about the characters and their decisions that their like my family and friends too. Sometimes, I forget its all fictional... Anyways, Fatal Threat had me on my knees the whole way through and I am still not sure how I survived it, so a re-re-read is definitely on the to-do list.

                                      CAN`T BUY ME LOVE 

It has been a hot minute since we have visited the Abbotts in the small town of Butler,VA. Since then, there has been a minor change. The series is now called the Butler,VA series since the author left the publisher and spinned it off.  No need to fret because everything is the same, same town, same people, and of course the fan favorite, Fred the Mouse.In addition, the price has gone down from $7.99 to $4.99!

Now that we have gotten that out of the way, it time to talk about Book 2 of the Butler,VA series, (Book 8 in the Green Mountain/Butler,VA series) called Can`t Buy Me Love! The main couple featured in this book are Patrick Murphy and Mary Larkin. We met Patrick and Mary (separately) back in the first book, All You Need is Love  and fell in love with them at first sight. The two of them were introduced to one another at Will and Cameron`s wedding in the novella, You`ll Be Mine. Ever since that first meeting, both have been smitten with one another and start seeing each other secretly! The events in this took place during through the last couple books, so there is information that has been said, just now from a different point of view.

When I first heard that Marie was going to write this book, I was overjoyed to say the least. Firstly, I fell in love with Patrick and Mary during their first meeting at Will and Cameron`s wedding. Secondly, I love stories about people finding love at an older age. I find it enduring and interesting. In addition, I loved that their were sneaking around, it added a bit of a thrill to the overall book. I loved this book so much that I read it mutiple times back to back since I got it. I love almost all of Marie`s books, so it was no surprise that this would be another home-run book. The thing about Marie`s books in general are they are genuine, relatable, and somewhat realistic. This book was no exception!

The bottom line is that I loved this book to death. I have read it multiple times and still cannot get enough. My emotions are taken on this roller coaster ride, and I do not want it to end. To be honest, I try to read it slow to savor every chapter, every page, every word, but I fail because I want to see what happens and by that time the book is done, which leaves me craving for more. Once your open the book, you are thrown into another world, where mundane issues are wiped away, and you are suddenly surrounded by the characters you love and connect with. Sometimes, I find myself so involved, that they become real to me in reality.

I hope you all give this book, and the others before a chance because you will not regret it. I certainly did not.                                GABE 

Wow, its been a long time since I have posted one of these. Honestly, I have no valid excuses, but whats done is done, so lets move on.... Speaking of moving on, since my last post, I have been introduced to a new author, Leigh James. She was introduced to me by one of my favorite authors, Marie Force. In the past year, Marie has opened her very own publishing house. Leigh`s series, Silicon Valley Billionaires is being published by Marie`s publishing house, Jack`s Publishing House. The book, GABE , is the second one in the series. LAUREN, the first book, was released earlier in February. Personally, I have fallen in love with series. My advice to you all would read the series in order, so it can make better sense. If you love romance, mystery, and an amazing villain, you will love this book. Actually, one of my favorite things about this series in general is how much I HATE the antagonist, which makes the books so good

He patted my hand. “Me and my balls love you—a lot. We’re good, babe. But we should try to get some rest while we can—are you okay?”
I relaxed against his chest. “I’m okay.” And for that brief moment in his arms, I actually meant it.
