FRACTURED HONOR

                                                  FRACTURED HONOR

There are so many books out there these days with new releases every day, at least that what it seems to me. However, for this particular book, the synopsis got to me. It seemed like my kind of book, so I decided that despite the fact that I still have so many unread books in my library, I had to get this one. I guess now the question is whether I enjoyed it or not. Honestly, I loved this book. I cannot stop thinking about it. On top of it all, it actually a series and the second book is coming out soon which I cannot wait!! Also, the author has set up so many wonderful storylines for upcoming books. I know you all cannot see me, but I am literally super excited. Anyways back to book 1 of the Crimson Point series, Fractured Honor, I enjoyed this book because it was about romance, friendship, betrayal, mystery, second chances, and death. If you enjoy all of those elements in a book, this book is right up your alley, like it was for me. To be honest with you, I was not expecting to love this book as much as I do now. I thought it sounded nice, but sometimes that is a downhill battle. The details of what Fractured Honor is about as well as information on the author will be listed below and make sure you look out for book #2!

Fractured Honor Synopsis:
An elite warrior struggling to find his place in the civilian world.
Weary from his years on the battlefield, SF Captain Beckett Hollister has returned home to Crimson Point to take over the family business for his dying father. But adjusting to life outside the military is harder than he imagined, and being back home forces him to confront things he’d rather not face. Including the one woman he shouldn’t want and can’t have—his best friend’s little sister.
A love that was always meant to be.
Town vet Sierra Buchanan has known Beckett her entire life. She’s crushed on him for years, but because of his relationship with her family, the stubborn man refuses to see her as more than the girl he grew up with. As tragedy brings them together, neither of them realizes that the sins of Beckett’s past have come home to haunt him. When Sierra becomes the target of his unforeseen enemy, Beckett must vanquish his demons to save her.

TRULY,MADLY,DEADLY

                                       TRULY,MADLY,DEADLY

Okay, so I know, I know, this post is late, but you know never late than ever, right? Anyways, so to be honest, I did not think I would be reviewing this particular book, but something about it caught my eye. The book I`m talking about is Truly, Madly, Deadly by Jenna Harte and the sixth book from her Valentine Series. You know, when you find a tv show series, and binge watch, that what I did with this series. Yeah, that right...I binged read the first five books in like one week, so you know when I tell you that not only do I love this particular book, I love the series in general. I will be doing a, "Read all about it," post sometime later, but for this post, we will stick to Truly, Madly, Deadly.

As I mentioned, I did a total binge read, and I totally loved it, but I did not have a lot of time with each book unlike with other posts I have done in the past, so please read with a grain of salt. Now thats out of the way, I loved this book. The overall series is mysterious, romantic, sarcastic, funny, and witty. Basically, right up my alley, plus Tessa, the protagonist is a chocolate gal, so theres that. When I read a book that I`m interested in, I don`t  like to give out that much information because I want to find out everything for myself, but the synopsis will be shown below and the run down of the series will be coming up soon.

book cover of Truly, Madly, Deadly

Tess Valentine's only goals for her trip to her home city of San Francisco are to legally take over her trust and to show her sexy husband, Jack Valentine, the sights of the city. She certainly has no plans of visiting her parents, who have resented her since her grandfather gave her the trust money her parents thought should go to them. When her parents invite her to dinner, Tess reluctantly agrees, despite her concerns that her parents may once again resort to unscrupulous tactics to try and take her trust. The last thing she expects on her visit is for her father to be arrested for the murder of his mistress.Tess has no intention of helping her father despite her mother's pleas. But when her cousin, the lawyer Tess' father hires to represent him and the one family member who'd ever been nice to Tess, asks for Tess' help in the case, she agrees to investigate. Turns out several people could have wanted her father's mistress dead, including the victim's sister, a disgruntled employee, and even Tess' mother, who is all of a sudden very cozy with Tess' trust lawyer. But as Tess and Jack get closer to the truth, a murderer's obsession is prepared to stop them
