OUTRAGEOUS

                                                OUTRAGEOUS

Summer is one of my favorite times of the year, but this summer for tortuous. I was just waiting and waiting for this book (OUTRAGEOUS) to release, so I could grab it and read it all in one setting. When the book finally uploaded on my ebook, I was beyond thrilled. I read it all in one setting til 3 in the morning. I laughed, cried, cringed, giggled, etc throughout the entire book. Basically, I throughly loved it. Leah was beyond hilarious and Emmett was down right adorable. It was the perfect summer ending book and so worth the wait. Now lets talk details: Outrageous is the 6th book in the Quantum Series by M.S. Force (the alter ego for Marie Force). If you want to know more about the series in general, I did a whole post about it called "Quantum...Read all about it," as well as a dedicated post on the last book, Delirious. Anyways, Outrageous features our favorite attorney, Emmett Burke, whom we met back in book 1, Virtuous as well as the hilarious former roommate of Natalie, Leah Holt, who moved to LA after getting the best gig in the world as being Marlowe Sloane`s assistant. Leah has been obsessed with the "Chief counsel of Quantum Productions," after their first meet, Leah signing the paperwork for her new job. If I had to sum up Outrageous in one phrase it would be: "Hilarious, sexy, and a whole scene of busting balls." It was definitely a slam duck for me and one of my new favorites of the year!

BLURB:

She drives him crazy… In more ways than one.
Every time Leah Holt encounters Quantum Production’s chief counsel, Emmett Burke, the only thing she can think of is how much she wants to lick him. Everywhere. She’s never had that kind of reaction to a man, and the fact that he’s a much-older colleague makes her out-of-control attraction to him far more complicated than it should be. Every day, she brings a new legal question to Emmett, hoping to catch his attention and make him see her as a grown woman who wants him desperately. She walks a fine line in trying to remain professional as the assistant to superstar Marlowe Sloane while lusting after Marlowe’s sexy attorney.
To Emmett, Leah is a fly buzzing around his head who can’t be swatted away. She’s always there, looking at him, asking him legal questions that have nothing to do with his specialty in entertainment law and generally driving him mad with her overt sexiness and sassy mouth. He wants to toss her over his desk and run the sass right out of her, which is hardly the way a professional who loves his job should behave in the office—especially with a young, fresh, sexy colleague. As the author of the company’s policy on inter-office dating, he’s painfully aware of all the reasons he should stay far, far away from her and the tantalizing temptation she represents.
Then Leah gets her chance to step up for Emmett, to help him through an unfortunate “accident” and to show him she’s much more than just a smart mouth and a sexy body. When she realizes she has genuine feelings for him—and that those feelings are returned—she wonders if he will take a chance on her or continue to hold her at arm’s length. Slowly but surely, she chips away at his resistance, and he begins to crave more of her. But Emmett knows if he’s going to let her in, he has to let her all the way in. What will she think when he introduces her to his BDSM lifestyle? Will she still want him the way she does now or will she run away in horror? And what will he do if she runs away?
When Leah confronts a dangerous threat from her past, Emmett is forced to acknowledge that his “annoying little fly” has worked her way firmly into his heart—and his bed.
Also, join the entire Quantum team at the company’s vineyard in Napa for Hayden and Addie’s wedding!
Contains the full TAME edition in the back for those who want all the romance with a less scorching heat level!

WHEN LIGHT LEAD TO YOU

                                    WHEN LIGHT LEADS TO YOU

I tend to stick to authors that I know, authors that have series that I am found of, but sometimes a book comes by way that catches by attention which is what happened in this case. When Lights Leads to you was a perfect book about how sometimes time is needed to find the perfect match . It was a kind of story that can happen in real life, a part of the reason why I think I enjoyed it so much. It had all of the elements that I tend to enjoy while reading this type of genre. I do not have anything bad to say about this novel. It was a lovely read, and I put my stamp of approval on it. A couple of things to mention though, its the second book in a series but can be read alone, like I did, and it is recommended for adults. With that said, lets hop into the synopsis, information about the author, and extras...

JASMINE
Once upon a time, there was a girl who had a crush on a boy. Eventually, they fell in love. They lived happily ever after.

Except they didn’t. Not even close.
I’m the girl, but that’s not my story.

Once upon a time, I fell for a boy, but we didn’t have a happily ever after. In fact, we crashed and burned. Which turned out to be for the best because it forced me to grow up and realize the only wedding bells in my future are the ones I orchestrate for clients.

For six years I’ve been perfectly content with meaningless, short-lived flings and running from anything that resembles a real relationship.

That boy?
He’s my best friend’s brother, and he’s no longer the boy I fell for—he’s a man I can’t stand.

Oh, and he’s also my new neighbor.

DEAN
Seemingly overnight, Jasmine Winters went from being my sister’s best friend to being the girl I couldn’t get enough of. But like most good things, it didn’t last.

Things fell apart so suddenly, I’m able to convince myself that summer never happened. At least, I was, until the only distance between us is a hallway instead of a time zone.

Six years ago, I let Jasmine slip through my fingers without an explanation because I was convinced we’d be better off apart. But now that we’re neighbors, our unspoken vow of apathy has unwittingly been shattered. Our exchanges consist of trading insults and icy stare downs. But in-between, I catch glimpses of the way she used to look at me, glimpses of the girl I fell for years ago.

Things are different now, though. This time… I won’t let her walk away without giving me answers.

When Light Leads to You is the second full-length novel of the Forget Me Knot series, but can be read as a standalone. **Due to strong language and the sexy times between these two, this book is recommended to readers ages 18 and up.**

About the Author:
C.R. Ellis is a Texas native who writes contemporary romance novels with plenty of drama and humor, and just enough heat to ignite e-readers and paperbacks everywhere. She can almost always be found attached to her laptop with coffee nearby and her two trusty canine sidekicks by her side. When she’s not writing or plotting, she enjoys going to concerts with her sweet husband, dragging him along to see rom-coms at any theater that serves booze, checking off the next destination on her ever-growing travel bucket list, and trying new recipes. Her passion for writing stems from her lifelong love of reading, and she often binge-reads entire books in a day. She’s an unapologetic book hoarder, and her paperback collection is rivaled only by her massive shoe collection.
