Yes, I know, its been a while, but I have been busy with school and finals, but we are back, for the time being at least since I leave for vacation in a week or so, but for now, we are back!

I have this tendency to usually read the authors that I most familiar with, but every now and then, I make a bold move, such as I did in this case. The Renegade is a fantastic read for me. I was looking for a book that was fun, light-heartened, but also had some meaningful depth, and I found it in this particular book. Without giving away any spoilers, what drew me to this book was the protagonist, the setting of the book, as well as the story-telling nature of this book. Overall, it is a great book to read sitting on the couch by the fireside or curled up in bed by a lamp, but nevertheless, it is a definite winner in my book (lol)! I cannot believe that October is here. It only seemed like yesterday that Marie was announcing her new book, Five Years Gone, to us (the fabulous readers). To be honest with you guys, I was kind of scared to read this book because I did not know what to expect. With her other books, most of them are series, so I kind of know what to expect as far as the characters and plot is concerned, but this was a whole new territory, but I have to tell you, it was one of the best books I have read thus far. I could not put it down. It tore me apart and before I had a chance to process that, it put me back together in the best way possible. You guys,I had mid-terms this last week, and instead of studying like I should have, I was reading Five Years Gone, because I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN!!! All I can tell you is that if you like books about loss, grief, love, and finding love again, then this is right up your alley. I had the best of intentions to pace myself with this book, but that idea went out the window by the time I got done with the first chapter! Marie really out did herself this time, you totally killed it! In addition, Marie announced that there will be a sequel, so keep your eyes peeled for that by following her website, newsletter, and through social media of course. All links will be listed below!

There are so many books out there these days with new releases every day, at least that what it seems to me. However, for this particular book, the synopsis got to me. It seemed like my kind of book, so I decided that despite the fact that I still have so many unread books in my library, I had to get this one. I guess now the question is whether I enjoyed it or not. Honestly, I loved this book. I cannot stop thinking about it. On top of it all, it actually a series and the second book is coming out soon which I cannot wait!! Also, the author has set up so many wonderful storylines for upcoming books. I know you all cannot see me, but I am literally super excited. Anyways back to book 1 of the Crimson Point series, Fractured Honor, I enjoyed this book because it was about romance, friendship, betrayal, mystery, second chances, and death. If you enjoy all of those elements in a book, this book is right up your alley, like it was for me. To be honest with you, I was not expecting to love this book as much as I do now. I thought it sounded nice, but sometimes that is a downhill battle. Okay, so I know, I know, this post is late, but you know never late than ever, right? Anyways, so to be honest, I did not think I would be reviewing this particular book, but something about it caught my eye. The book I`m talking about is Truly, Madly, Deadly by Jenna Harte and the sixth book from her Valentine Series. You know, when you find a tv show series, and binge watch, that what I did with this series. Yeah, that right...I binged read the first five books in like one week, so you know when I tell you that not only do I love this particular book, I love the series in general. I will be doing a, "Read all about it," post sometime later, but for this post, we will stick to Truly, Madly, Deadly. 

As I mentioned, I did a total binge read, and I totally loved it, but I did not have a lot of time with each book unlike with other posts I have done in the past, so please read with a grain of salt. Now thats out of the way, I loved this book. The overall series is mysterious, romantic, sarcastic, funny, and witty. Basically, right up my alley, plus Tessa, the protagonist is a chocolate gal, so theres that. When I read a book that I`m interested in, I don`t  like to give out that much information because I want to find out everything for myself, but the synopsis will be shown below and the run down of the series will be coming up soon. 

Tess Valentine's only goals for her trip to her home city of San Francisco are to legally take over her trust and to show her sexy husband, Jack Valentine, the sights of the city.
